The cookies made by Ruby Snap are literally the best in all the land. My personal favorite? The lemon blueberry poppyseed cookie, as seen in the top left of the picture below. Dang these treats are good!
zion national park
Last weekend I went down to Zion National Park with my husband, Paul, and our friends, Jamie and Ryan, to camp in the park. Wow. WOW! Zion blew me away. It's smaller than I thought but just as beautiful as I had imagined, or even more so. Something I love about living in SLC is that it makes it easy to get to some of the most beautiful spots in the world in only a few hours, so weekend trips are entirely doable. I have no clue why I don't go camping on more weekends, truthfully, but this was just the ticket for a great weekend trip!
baby gray
This little 4-week old was truly the easiest baby I think I've ever photographed! Not to say other babies are particularly terrible, but baby Gray seemed especially content to be poked and prodded and photographed for a very long time!
Lately I've been realizing how incredible it is that people invite me in to their home, not knowing me, and allow me to document their beautiful intimate lives. I feel so lucky to be able to meet such strong and sweet people, such as this family. I couldn't have been more honored to meet them and photograph them.

Today I baked these incredible tasty Pear & Hazelnut Oat Muffins from The Sprouted Kitchen's Recipe. They really are incredible and are also very dense and flavorful. Go and make them! Do it!
clouds
Clouds are my most favorite thing ever. Really, they are! Every now and then I'll share one of my photos of the sky. I take so many that it would be chaos if I were to post them all! I'd quickly be known as "the could photographer" and I wouldn't want that .... or would I? Anyway, this evening was particularly beautiful and I can't resist sharing!
